I don't think it's just Jerry Crasnick ... he's just the only national writer desperate enough to meet a deadline to write about the Orioles and their tribute to mediocrity.
That said, I hate the idea of Nasty Nestor's protest, which simply reeks of gimmick. As if that is somehow going to change Peter Angelos's mind.

The protest get some decent play on ESPN last week. Of course Angelos came back with a coment along the lines of "Who cares."
